Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and chrispsdesign, of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us") for using the Fridge+ app, including +together. By using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Fridge+
You must be 18 or over. You need an email address to sign in, and you're responsible for keeping access to that email and your phone secure.
2. Subscription and free trial
- Fridge+ costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year (or the local equivalent shown in the App Store) after a 7-day free trial.
- One subscription covers you and your linked partner. The family plan (+$2.99 a month) adds up to 4 more people with their own accounts. If it ends, nobody is removed, but no one new can join until the household is within the plan again.
- Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period ends.
- If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- If we change prices, Apple will tell you in advance and ask for your agreement where required.
3. Consent in +together
+together includes romantic, sensual and sexual content. It's off until both partners choose a level, and the app always shows the lower of your two choices.
- Choosing a content level is about what you want to read and discuss. It is never consent to any activity. Consent is given between you and your partner, in the moment, and can be withdrawn at any time.
- Either of you can lower your level or unlink at any time, for any reason.
- Never use the app to pressure, coerce, monitor or control a partner.
4. What you agree not to do
- Upload anything illegal, any sexual image of a person under 18, or any intimate image of someone without their consent.
- Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or use the app to track or control someone.
- Try to access data that isn't yours, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.
- Share your account, or resell or copy the app's content.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Fridge+. We don't use it for advertising and we don't sell it. You're responsible for having the right to share photos and information about other people, including your children.
6. Our content
The questions, quizzes, notes, guides, journeys, designs and logos in Fridge+ belong to us or our licensors. You may use them personally within the app.
7. Partner links
Some links in Fridge+ (wishlist shopping links and date-night experiences) are partner links: if you buy, the shop may pay Fridge+ a small commission at no cost to you. Fridge+ isn't the seller. Anything you buy is between you and the shop, under its own terms and privacy policy. We don't share anything about you with the shop.
8. Not professional advice
Fridge+'s guides and exercises are general information to help couples connect. They aren't therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial advice, and they aren't an emergency service. If you feel unsafe in your relationship, these exercises aren't the right tool: please see Support → If you feel unsafe and contact local emergency services.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Fridge+ available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance.
10. Ending
You can stop using Fridge+ and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy and data. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in your iPhone's Settings. We may end these terms if you seriously or repeatedly break them.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you're a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights.
12. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any product claims, intellectual property claims or legal compliance relating to it. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you aren't in a country subject to a US government embargo and aren't on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario. If you live elsewhere, you can also bring a claim where you live and keep the protection of your local consumer law.
